Seminar Description: An overview of the various avenues and/or mechanisms a shareholder may have at his / her / its disposal to exert influence over, determine corporate decisions or safeguard its interests in the company. This could be through litigation (e.g. minority oppression actions (Section 216) or derivative actions (Section 216A)) or the exercise of shareholder rights under a company’s constitution and the Companies Act (Cap. 50).

Target audience: Existing business owners, shareholders, directors and senior management.

Seminar Duration: Between 1.5 hours to 2 hours (can be customised).

Format: In-person presentation with case studies, followed by Q&A session.
